Ronald Levy of Jamaica won the men’s 110m hurdles at the 54th Palio della Quercia (EA Premium) in Rovereto, Italy on Thursday (Aug 22).

Levy crossed the line in 13.37secs to beat European champion Pascal Martinot-Lagarde, 13.37secs.

Tajay Gayle, also of Jamaica, leapt 7.93m for second in the men’s long jump. Greek Miltiadis Tentoglou recorded 8.00m to take the victory.

Meanwhile, US sprinter English Gardner competed for the first time since July 2017 and won the 100m in meet record 11.02secs. She beat Trinidad and Tobago’s Michelle-Lee Ahye, 11.23 into second place.

Former Jamaican sprinter Jak Ali Harvey, now representing Turkey, won the men´s 100m in 10.14. Mike Rodgers of USA was second in 10.17.

Ukrainian Anna Ryzhykova ran 55.74 to win the women’s 400m hurdles.

USA’s Paul Dedewo won the 400m in 45.30secs.
