Bahamian Shaunae Miller-Uibo is excited about Thursday’s (29 Aug) IAAF Diamond League 200m final in Zurich.
She faces two-time world defending champion Dafne Schippers of Netherland and Jamaica’s Olympic sprint double champion Elaine Thompson.
British rising star Dina Asher-Smith, along with Nigerian Blessing Okagbare and American Jenna Prandini will also face the starter.
“I’m really excited about tomorrow as it is my last 200m of the season,” said Miller-Uibo. “After that, it’s all about the 400m.”
Thomspon is the world leader with 22.00s flat. Okagbare’s season-best is 22.05 and Miller-Uibo’s 22.09.
Miller-Uibo, in Birmingham, beat Asher-Smith and Schippers.
“It was a great race to compete against all of the girls in Birmingham.”
