DOHA, Qatar – Fedrick Dacres is confident ahead of Monday’s (30 Sept) discus final at the 17th IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 here in Qatar.

Dacres, who qualified for the final with 65.44m, will face a tough field on Monday (30 Sept) in his bid for crowning glory.

“I’m thankful for the mark, but I think I was a bit too relax,” Dacres said.

“The competition is good, so I hope it can pull out the best in me,” said Dacres.
Daniel Stahl of Swedeen of 67.88m was the only automatic qualifier from Saturday’s opening round.

“I am always confident,” said Dacres.
