LONDON – Elaine Thompson will not be apart of Jamaica’s 4x100m relay team for tonight final here at the London 2017 World Championships.

Olympic Games sprint double champion Thompson, who finished fourth in the women’s 100m final, was expected to be brought in for the final.

Sashalee Forbes, who ran the anchor leg in the heats, told journalists “we will have two other athletes coming in for the final: Simone Facey and Elaine Thompson.”

Jura Levy will lead off Jamaica to Natasha Morrison. Simone Facey, who will run the third leg, came in for Christiana Williams.

Jamaica will run from lane 7, USA lane 4, Trinidad and Tobago 3.

The event will run off at 3:30pm Jamaica time.
