Yohan Blake 20.29 wins semi-final 3 of men's 200m ahead of Everton Clarke 20.45 and Rasheed Dwyer 20.46 ‪#‎JamaicaTrials‬ ‪#‎Rio2016

Former world champion Yohan Blake claimed 100-metre victory at the World Challenge event in Zagreb on Tuesday in a time of 10.05 seconds.

The second-fastest man of all-time, who finished fourth in the world championship final in London earlier this month, beat American Mike Rodgers (10.14) and his fellow Jamaican Asafa Powell (10.16) into second and third respectively.

Shanieka Ricketts was the other Jamaica winner. She topped the women’s triple jump with 14.52m over Russian Viktoriya Prokopenko 13.96m.

In the women’s 100m, Trinidad and Tobago’s Michelle-Lee Ahye, 11.26 was third behind Nigerian Blessing Okagbare 11.14 and Dina Asher-Smith of Great Britain, 11.23.

British Virgin Islands’ Kyron McMaster was beaten in the men’s 400m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 49.49 behind Abderrahmane Samba of Qatar, 48.70.

Surprise world 200m champion Ramil Guliyev of Turkey had to settle for fifth in a time of 10.36 secs.
Botswanan Isaac Makwala suffered a surprise defeat in Croatia as American Gil Roberts won in 44.94 secs to 45.29.

American Vernon Norwood was third in 45.47secs.
