RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — Jamaica’s sprint queen, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is claiming that she isn’t the best person to speak on news, that she is parting ways with longtime coach, Stephen Francis.

The news that Fraser-Pryce, winner of 15 global medals for Jamaica, will depart the UTech-based MVP group, came on Thursday.

Asked if there is any truth that she will be parting ways with MVP?

“I think that’s a question you need to ask Stephen Francis,” was how the two-time (2008 and 2012) Olympic Games 100m champion replied.

“If you asking anything about MVP, I think you direct it to Mr. Bruce James or Stephen Francis,” continued the sprinter, who has won six Olympics medal for Jamaica.

Pressed by journalists, ‘as far as you are concerned, we shall see you back at MVP?

Again, the 7-time World Championships gold medalist, replied: “As far as I am concerned, if it is you need to ask a question about MVP, Stephen Francis is a perfect person to speak to,” she said before ending the interview with a big laugh.
