DOHA, Qatar – The Doha Diamond League will host a mouthwatering clash as Shericka Jackson faces off against Dina Asher-Smith and Sha’Carri Richardson in the women’s 100m event.
The event, which will take place on Saturday, 5 May, was confirmed by World Athletics on Wednesday.
Jackson, the current World Leader with a time of 10.82 seconds, will compete against British Record Holder Asher-Smith and American duo Richardson and Abby Steiner. They will be joined by Americans TeeTee Terry, Melissa Jefferson, and Teahna Daniels, alongside Zoe Hobbs of New Zealand.

The Doha Diamond League is the first stop of the 2023 Diamond League series. Fans can expect a thrilling competition as the athletes take on each other in one of the most exciting events in track and field.
