LONDON – Usain Bolt was upbeat ahead of his race at Friday's (24 July) London Diamond League, report AP and IAAF.

The 28 year old, who won the 100m at the first Anniversary Games in 2013, said that his coach Glenn Mills is confident that he will be ready for the world championships.

“I've been training really hard,” explained the Jamaican. “I've been pushing myself, so it's all about execution now. If I can execute right and get everything right, I know I'll run fast. It just takes one run to get to 9.7. I'm not worried about times.”

He has been particularly working on the first 40m of his race and wants to focus on improving his 100m in order to also make his 200m performance better.
