Adelle Tracey and Danielle Thomas-Dodd represent Jamaica at the Madrid World Indoor Tour meeting in Spain.

Tracey, who won the NACAC 1500 meter silver medal, finished fourth in the women’s 800 metre event, recording a time of 2 minutes 02.16 seconds.

Meanwhile, Thomas-Dodd, a world championship silver medalist, placed sixth in the women’s shot put event with a throw of 18.84 metres.

Despite their valiant efforts, Tracey and Thomas-Dodd were unable to clinch victory, as Benin’s Noelle Yarigo and Canadian Sarah Mitton took the top spots in their respective events.

Yarigo won the 800 metre event with a time of 2 minutes 01.47 seconds, while Mitton dominated the shot put with an effort measuring 19.76 metres.
