Jamaican sprinters Asafa Powell and Sherone Simpson have reached an out-of-court settlement with the company that produced the supplements leading to their doping bans.

The duo tested positive to banned stimulant oxilofrine in 2013, only for the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to lift their 18-month suspensions last year.

Powell and Simpson reached a settlement with Dynamic Life Nutrition, who made the supplement Epiphany D1.

The supplement contained the banned stimulant, one that was not declared.

"U can't put a price on a reputation…I hve 2live w/the damage 4the rest of my life but it's a small step on the long journey 2 vindication," Powell tweeted on Tuesday.

Powell was the 100-metre champion at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, while he is also an Olympic gold medallist – having been part of the winning 4x100m team in Beijing.

Simpson also won gold in the relay, hers coming in 2004, while she won silver in the 100m in 2008.
