AUSTIN, Texas – Jamaican athlete Shiann Salmon, who represented ADIDAS, took the top spot in the Women’s 400-Meter Hurdles at the Texas Invitational on Friday, April 28th. Salmon dominated the competition by finishing in 55.83 seconds, securing her position from lane 5 of heat 1.

Alanah Yukich, representing the UTSA Roadrunners, finished second in 57.74 seconds. Meanwhile, Brooke Jaworski of the Texas Longhorns claimed the third spot with 58.78 seconds, running from lane 6 of heat 1. Janeil Bellille of Athletic Texas finished fourth with a time of 1:00.07.

In the Men’s 400-Meter Hurdles, Kody Blackwood, also from the Texas Longhorns, took first place with a time of 51.36 seconds.

Chris Brinkley, another member of the Texas Longhorns, secured second place in lane 7 of heat 1, finishing with a time of 51.59 seconds. Quivell Jordan-Bacot of HurdleMechanic clinched the third spot, finishing in 51.84 seconds in lane 6 of heat 1.
