Hansle Parchment at Jamaica Trials 2022

Hansle Parchment and Omar McLeod, both Olympic Games gold medallists, are into the final of the men’s 110m hurdles at the Jamaica Trials set for Sunday (26 June) at the National Stadium in Kingston.

Parchment, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games champion, was very easy in taking semi-final 1/3 in the day’s fastest time, 13.24. Tyler Mason took the second automatic spot in 13.44.

McLeod, the Rio 2016 Olympic Games champion, was up next, but he had to work hard to take victory in 13.34. Michael O’Hara ran a personal best of 13.40, which also secured his place in the final.

Orlando Bennett won semi-final 3 in 13.27 ahead of Rasheed Broadbell, 13.29.

Also into Sunday’s final are Lafranz Campbell, 13.41, and Damion Thomas, 13.45.
