Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce set a new meeting record while Hansle Parchment continued his winning form at Sunday’s (5 Sept) Kamila Skolimowska Memorial.

Fraser’s time of 10.81 is the fastest ever run at the Stadion Śląski (Stadium) in Chorzów, Poland.

Swiss sprinter Mujinga Kambundji was a distance second in 11.08.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Michelle-Lee Ahye finished fourth in 11.19, and Jamaican Shashalee Forbes, sixth in 11.51.

Tokyo 2020 winner Parchment continued his excellent form with a second straight victory over American Devon Allen. Parchment, who wasn’t the quickest from the blocks, dominated the second half to win with 13.26 seconds ahead of Allen, 13.37.

Olympic Games 100m hurdles silver medallist Megan Tapper was a second-place finisher in the women’s 100m hurdles. She ran 12.75 to finish behind Nigerian Tobi Amusan, 12.64.

Jamaica’s Tokyo 2020 finalist, Candice McLeod, 51.88, was third in the women’s 400m, won by Natalia Kaczmarek of Poland, 50.70.

Janieve Russell, 52.19 and Roneisha McGregor, 52.23, were fifth and sixth, respectively.

Russell returned to finish fourth in the women’s 400m hurdles, running a time of 54.57 behind winner Viktoriya Tkachuk of Ukraine, 54.18.

Canadian Olympic Games 200m champion Andre De Grasse ran 20.21 to win his race ahead of compatriot Jerome Blake, 20.32.

American Michael Cherry followed up his Brussels Diamond League victory with 44.94 to take the men’s 400m. Vernon Norman, also of the USA, finished second in 45.12.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Deon Lendore finished this in 45.31, and Jamaican Christopher Taylor, fifth in 45.68.

Jaheel Hyde took the third spot in the men’s 400m hurdles, running 48.89 to finish behind Alison dos Santos of Brazil, 48.50 and Yasmani Copello of Turkey, 48.80.

Fedrick Dacres threw 64.91m for third in the men’s discus, which Slovenian Kristjan Ceh won, 66.65m.
