St. Andrew retained the JTA/Sagicor National Primary, All-Age and Junior Schools Athletics Championships that ended at the National Stadium on Saturday (21).

The St Andrew team finished the two-day championships on 359.50 points

St Catherine finished second with 255.50 points and St Ann, third with 230 points.

Portland (220), Westmoreland (193), Manchester (168) and St Elizabeth (153) rounded off the top five teams.

St Andrew also won the boys’ category with 228 points, while Portland were the winners of the girls’ section with 138 points.

Kevin Wilson of St. Andrew and Ramoya Thompson of St Thomas were the champion boy and girl for 2016.

Wilson finished with 23 points and Thompson 24 points
