American middle-distance runner Ajee Wilson secured an impressive victory at the Penn Relays, setting a new world-leading time of 1:24.45 in the 600m event and earning a WACT Bronze. Jamaican athlete Natoya Goule finished closely behind with a time of 1:24.96.

Despite poor weather conditions, young talent Shawnti Jackson won the women’s 200m race with a time of 23.11 (-1.7), while Tyler Manson emerged victorious in the men’s 400m race with a time of 51.71.

In the women’s 1500m race, Josette Andrews clinched the top spot with a time of 4:04.88, ahead of Italian runner Sintayehu Vissa, who finished with a time of 4:07.27.

The Texas A&M University team took first place in the 4x400m relay, completing the race in 3:25.97.

In other events, Devon Allen clocked in at 13.457 (-1.0) in the men’s 110m hurdles, narrowly beating Brazilian athlete Rafael Pereira who finished with a time of 13.459.

Quincy Hall emerged as the winner in the men’s 400m race with a time of 46.09, while Kameron Jones secured first place in the men’s 600m race with a time of 1:16.04. New Zealand’s Geordie Beamish clinched first place in the men’s mile race with a time of 3:57.68.

Jordan Geist achieved a distance of 20.92m in the shot put competition.
