Former Edwin Allen students Kimberly Williamson and Ackelia Smith were among the winners on Thursday’s (23 June) opening day of the Jamaica Trials at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Williamson cleared 1.88 metres to take her seventh high jump crown while Smith, a student at the University of Texas, leapt 6.56 metres to win the women’s long jump.
