Elaine Thompson-Herah, the reigning Olympic Games sprint double champion, is heading back to defend her titles.

Shericka Jackson, a winner of World and Olympic Games 400m bronze medals, is stepping down in the 100m and 200m.

The women’s sprints will be hot with Fraser-Pryce, Sha’Carri Richardson, Gabby Thomas, Thompson-Herah, Shericka Jackson and Dina Asher-Smith.

Shaneika Ricketts and Danielle Thomas-Dodd are also medallists from Doha 2019. Danielle Williams, a reserve, also won the Doha 2019 medal and is the Beijing 2015 1090m hurdles champion.

World long jump champion Tajay Gayle and Fedrick Dacres, who won silver in Doha 2019, are the other individual global medallists.
