BULLE, Switzerland – At the Meeting de la Gruyere, Ajla Del Ponte clocked a personal best of 11.08 to win the 100m.

Earlier, in another race, she ran 11.10secs (+1.5), which was also a personal best, at the time.

She also took the 200m with 22.83 (+2.1m/sec).

Silvan Wicki set a European-leading time in the men’s race, clocking 10.11 PB (+2.0, already 10.23 +1.0 in the first race) ahead of Italian Luca Lai 10.22 PB.

Scott Lincoln improved his shot PB to 20.41m at an England Athletics pilot event in Hendon, North London. Via Ian Hodge. Jade Lally won the discus with 56.10m and Jake Norris hammer 71.60.

In Guernsey, Germany, Alastair Chalmers ran a personal best 35.35 over 300m hurdles at a local meet.

NUNEATON (GBR, Jul 12): Indoor revelation Jessie Knight opened with hand-timed 51.9 in the 400m, a mixed race. Efe Okoro clocked 46.58.

VICENZA (ITA, Jul 11): Leonardo Fabbri won the shot with 20.58m at the Brazzale Meeting. Sara Fantini was within a metre of her PB with 69.44m in the hammer.

ALEKSANDROW LODZKI (POL, Jul 11): Top throws results were Konrad Bukowiecki’s shot of 20.26m and Robert Urbanek with 62.49m in the discus over Bukowiecki 54.66.
