PARIS, France – A 24-year-old man suspected of having participated in the assault of Pierre-Ambroise Bosse has been charged, informs L’Equipe.

He was placed in police custody on Thursday morning. According to a source close to the investigation, the young man admitted to beating the athlete but denied having taken part in a collective aggression.

The president of the French Athletics Federation (FFA) Andre Giraud has said they intend to stand as a civil party alongside Bosse.
