Devon Biscuits has recommitted itself as the title sponsor of the Institute of Sports (INSPORTS) Regional and National Primary Schools Athletics Championships, investing over $21 million over three years to support the growth and sustainability of young athletes across Jamaica.

The sponsorship will see more than 6,000 students from 133 primary schools compete in a series of track and field events beginning with the Eastern Championships at Stadium East on May 1.
Sherene Bryan, brand manager for Devon Biscuits, emphasized the company’s commitment to fostering young talent: “We believe that with adequate resources, the right mentorship and a supportive community, anything is possible for these athletes. It is with great honour to be given this opportunity to support, foster and encourage over 6,000 students from 133 primary schools across Jamaica. Devon Biscuits has been provided with the platform to change lives, make a big impact, while unearthing talent in various sporting disciplines,” she said.
Sports Minister Olivia Grange welcomed the continued partnership, expressing gratitude towards the company’s involvement: “A big thank you to Devon Biscuits for coming on board to assist. We really appreciate your sponsorship.”
The championships will continue with the Central Championship at GC Foster College in Spanish Town from May 6-8, followed by the Western Championship at St. Elizabeth Technical High School from May 9-11. The season will culminate with The Nationals, where schools from across the island will compete to be crowned all-island champions at the National Stadium from May 20-22.
