Three Saint Lucians competed for Coppin State at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White, hosted by Boston University, in Boston, Massachusetts.

For the second straight week, Udoka Constantine improved on her 800m PB, clocking 2:15.70, 5th in Ht 3, 20th overall.

Randy Serville and Jervonne Agard were on the Coppin State team that ran 3:19.48 to end 3d in men’s 4x400m. Agard (51.63) was 23d in the 400m, while Serville (1:54.62) was 19th in the 800m.

Serville’s 800m time is a new PB and 4th in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference for the 2020 indoor season. Saint Lucia’s indoor record, 1:49.70, was set by another CSU Eagle, Michael James, in 2016, also at Boston.

At the Pittsburg State Invitational on Pittsburg State University’s Harvey Dean Track, Tarik Xavier ran 1:57.37 in the men’s 800m, 8th in his heat, 26th overall for Butler Community College.

At the Villanova Invitational, three Saint Lucians competed for Essex CC. Samara Edward (1:00.57, 19th) in women’s 400m, indoor PB, an Essex season-best.

In the men’s 200m, Carl Drakes (22.50, 5th) ran an Essex season-best. Shelton St Rose (23.47) was 19th overall.

  1. Saint Lucia track and field need a lot of work…who us there to help because these results are not impressive in any way or form.

    Who know anything they can share about track and field in Saint Lucia?
