Florida Gators Doneisha Anderson

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gators sophomore Doneisha Anderson has been named this week’s SEC Women’s Runner of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday (18 Feb).

The recognition comes after her performance during Clemson’s Tiger Paw Invitational last weekend.

The quarter-miler established herself as the NCAA leader in the 400 after posting a time of 52.06 seconds on Friday. Her time ranks sixth in UF’s All-Time Top 10 list, and it is a new personal record for the Bahamian.

Anderson’s recognition is the fourth for the Gators this season. For a full list of Gators who have been named to SEC weekly honours this indoor season, please see below.
