Jamaica’s 2012 World U20 bronze medallist Odean Skeen has promised his return to the track “Shall Soon Come”

Skeen, who won the 100m bronze at the Barcelona 2012 World U20 Championships, has not run since he pulled up during the Jamaica Trials in 2017.

He has a personal best of 9.97, the 15th Jamaican to break the 10-second barrier, came at the 2017 War Eagle Invitational in Auburn, Alabama.

“A Long-Awaited Return Shall Soon Come,” said the former Wolmer’s High student.

“To Those That Continue To Believe In Me, Thank You!
For Those That Don’t Know Me Yet, Join Me As I Return To The Track.”

“Sub-10 Settings. Delayed But Not Denied,” Skeen posted on his social media page with a video of his workout.

“To Be Tested Is Good. The Challenged Life May Be The Best Therapist.” he quoted Gail Sheehy.

Skeen helped Jamaica to silver medals at the 2010 Moncton and 2012 Barcelona World U20 Championships.

He won the Youth Olympic Games 100m and 4x100m titles in Singapore, 2010. He also won four Carifta Games gold and three CAC Youth Championships titles.
