WICHITA – Huge high jump improvement for Bermuda’s 18-year-old talent Jah-Nhai Perinchief.

Perinchief, who was Youth Olympic Games 2014 finalist, at the K.T. Woodman Classic, improved from 2.15m to 2.26m.

Meanwhile in Tallahassee, Olympic medalist 2008 Walter Dix continued with impressive season.

At Seminole Invitational, Dix won the 100m in 10.06 (+0.8) clearly over Christian Coleman 10.11 and Dentarius Locke 10.20.

Tyrese Cooper, 16-year-old, won the men’s 200m in 20.46 ahead of Briton James Ellington 20.46 (+2.2m/s wind).

Felicia Brown won the women’s 200m in 22.55 PB (+0.4) ahead of Kali Davis-White 22.86, also a life-time best.

Davis-White also got PB by winning the 100m in 11.27 (-0.3).

European wins to note for Jussi Kanervo of Finland at 400m hurdles 50.10 and Anne Zagre from Belgium 13.27 (-0.9) in the 100m hurdles. 

In Westwood, World 400m hurdles medalist American Shamier Little won her event in 56.38 at the Dual Meet.

Fred Kerley posted 45.37 in men 400m and Puertorican Hector Hernandez 1:46.29 in the 800m.

Nikolaos Skarvelis who represents Greece, improved in shot put to overall PB 20.42m.
