A total of (11) eleven records were broken at the just concluded RAM’S Primary School Championships.

Raceem Thomas of Beach Allen Primary broke the record in the Under 13 Boys High Jump with a jump of 1.54m. The previous record was 1.48m set by Jermaine Francis in 2010.

DeKrawnya McSheen of Cayon Primary broke the record in the Under 11 Girls 100m in the heats. Her time was 13.83 seconds and the record was 13.91 seconds set by Olujede Bridgewater in 2012.

Abigale Richards of Cayon Primary broke the record in the Under 11 Girls High Jump with a mark of 1.21m. The previous record was 1.20m set by Earlane Webbe in 2011.

Cayden Bass-Hensley of Immaculate Conception Catholic broke the record in the Under 11 Boys 100m with a time of 13.82 seconds in his preliminary heat. The previous record stood at 13.84 seconds set by Isreal Liburd in 2010.

Jion Phillip of Saddlers Primary School leapt 1.30m in the Under 11 Boys High Jump. The previous record of 1.28m was set by V’Quan Thomas in 2011.

Ketrianna Huggins of Sandy Point Primary (Victrix Ludorum) equaled the record for the Under 13 girls long jump. This mark of 4.50m was first established by Namibia Clavier in 2012.

Trishanie Warner of Sandy Point Primary broke the Under 11 Girls 400m record with a time of 1:06.58. The previous record was 1:07.91 set by Olujede Bridgewater in 2012

Dario Esdaille of Tucker Clarke broke the Under 13 Boys 800m record in a time of 2:28.08. The previous record was 2:28.39 set by Joel Nicholas Henry in 2011. Dario also broke the open Boys 1200m in a time of 3:57.81. This record was previously held by Kalonji Clarke in 2013.

Doctor William Connor Primary broke the record in the Under 9 Girls 4x100m. The record was 1:05.10 set in 2008 by the Beach Allen Primary School. Doctor William Connor broke this record in the prelims with a time of 1:03.1. They then went on the break this new record in the Finals with a time of 1:02.25.

Sandy Point Primary broke their own record in the Girls open 4x400m. The previous record was 4:32.11 set in 2013. Their new record stands at 4:30.58.
