Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is yet to decide if she will double at the Doha 2019 World Championships.

She finished second in both 100m and 200m at the Jamaica Trials over a week ago. She ran 10.73, the same time as winner Elaine Thompson in the 100m and 22.22 in the 200m. Thompson won with a world-leading 22.00

“I made the team to the World Championships in Doha, but I am not a 100 per cent sure yet if I am doing the double,” said Fraser-Pryce, winner of the 2013 World Championships sprint double.

However, Fraser-Pryce said: “My gold is to run very fast and be on the podium.”

The 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games 100m champion said she is working hard to get back to her best.

“For me, it’s trying to execute, especially my first 30 (meters). I am trying to cement getting back to my old start, so I am focused on that,” added the sprinter, nicknamed Mommy Rocket.

Fraser-Pryce, when asked, said she would want to be remembered as “the athlete who has never given up.”
