GLASGOW – Olympic 100mH champion Sally Pearson is likely to withdraw from the 100m at the Commonwealth Games, inform BBC.

The 27 year old Australian will still compete in the hurdles, but will probably not do the two individual events to avoid any risks of aggravating the hamstring that has been giving her trouble in the past two seasons.

Pearson was one of three athletes to be fined by Athletics Australia for arriving late at their pre-Games training camp; Ben Harradine and Alex Rowe were the others.

Rowe and Harradine had been competing in Monaco, where Rowe equalled the national 800m record, while Pearson had been competing in London.
