Olympian Allodin Fothergill, Edino Steele, along with juniors Demar Murray and Jermaine Gayle, are set to join the group when training resumes in about October.

Fothergill, however, is not new to the group, as he had trained with them during the summer of last year. He has now finished College in Maryland and will return to Jamaica to resume training fully with the group. He attended Elthan High and G.C. Foster College before leaving for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Fothergill, on Monday, won bronze at the CAC Games in Puerto Rico.

On the other hand, Steele from New York City, apart from having a good 2010 indoor season and running consistently at mid 46secs, is yet to make a name for himself.

"Steele and Fothergill have been at Racers from about May/June," Glen Mills, coach and President of the club confirmed to trackalerts.com.

Of Murray and Gayle, both who represented Jamaica at the just concluded 13th IAAF World Junior Championships in Moncton, Canada, Mills said, "I know they have an interest in coming but until we start in October, we can't confirm that they'll be there .... We prefer to say who've joined us rather than who are willing to join us but we'll love to have them...."

Murray, on his return to the island on Tuesday night, told trackalerts.com that he will be joining the Usain Bolt led group in October.

"I will be joining the Racers Group because I think it's a better option than to go overseas," he explained.

He added: "I will be attending UTech, because I want to stay close to my family and friends," he said of his decision not to seek scholarship overseas.

The four will join Jermaine Gonzales, who last week in Monaco ran 44.40 for a new Jamaica record and Ricardo Chambers, many time national champion, along with sprinters Yohan Blake, Marvin Anderson and Antiguan Daniel Bailet at the UWI-based Club.

Hold your Fire!!! It not MVP v. RTC. You guys are handing out medals already. They haven't won anything as yet. So let us wait until.

Last time I checked, only one(1) person over at RTC has a gold medal. What is that? 1 for 100? Reading your clips, one would get the impression that everyone over there is wearing a gold medal.

If these clowns believe GM is going to recreate them into Bolt lite, they will be disappointed. I hope they do well. But 1 for 100? It is too crowded over there. They should do a little gold counting over at the other U before they made this leap.

You cant be handing out gold medals before the race.

BunnyG, I hope you frame these' words', because you are gonna choke on them very soon.

If these guys join Racers , hoping at least two of them can join the low 44 seconds club. Then we will have enough to run the rounds and be rested for the the 4X400m relay finals. A Bolt in a 19.19 or better over the 200m can anchor the 4X400 and give the Americans trouble. I doubts the US will have a 43 seconds runner over the 400m any time soon and this will even the 4X400 field with a Bolt to make the difference.

nobody is counting their chicken before they hatched; However, if a runner is not funtioning according to their capacity............if he or she feels to stay home and train with good coach..........their business....look how many went to the state and flap.............
