According to Levy, things are moving along well, and her training is in an advanced stage now, better than this time last year.
In an article by TrackLedger.com, Levy stated "I am further along this year than where I was at this point last year and my training is going good".
The former Vere Technical and Jamaican Junior star, who said her goal this year is to make the Olympic team, has already clocked 7.38 in the 60m and 24.14 in the 200m; winning both events at the Iowa State Open last month. During this preparation period, Levy's short term goal for the season is to stay healthy; hinting that this is the only way to make the high profiled Jamaican sprint squad to London.
Levy, who recently transferred to Oklahoma Baptist University from South Plains College in Texas, where she had a very successful career, is adjusting well to the scheme of things at her new school both academically and athletically.
After a great start to the 2012 Indoor season, she has already been awarded the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) title for Athlete of the Week.
