St. Kitts & Nevis' duo shine in Finland

TAMPERE, Finland (eme news) - The international meet Tahtien Kisat registered two wins for St. Kitts guest sprinters.

Tameka Williams clocked 7.37 (PB) and Antoine Adams 6.71 to win the women's and men's 60m finals respectively.

Jamaican Patricia Hall used the oversized 300m track to fast 23.01 at 200m.

German Malte Mohr cleared 5.65m to win the pole vault beating home town favourite Jere Bergius (5.55m). Two other Germans Fabian Schulze and Tim Lobinger no-heighted at 5.30m.

Ukrainian Andriy Makarchev was the best in long jump with 7.80m and Russian Yekaterina Galitskaya at 60m hurdles with 8.20. Denmarks Caroline Bonde beat on count back Norway´s Cathrine Larsasen in pole vault, both 4.30m. Two home wins to note, Jussi Heikkila 36.79 at 300m hurdles and Karin Storbacka 4:14.89 at 1500m.
