Calabar closed the 121st Penn Relays in style, but not before St. Elizabeth Technical stamped its class on the 4x800m event at the Franklin Field Stadium in Philadelphia

The quartet of Romario Guthrie (1:56.86), Paul Tate (1:52.84), Shemar Salmon (1:56.51) and Jauavney James, who ran a well-timed race, (1:52.18), took the Santa Cruz-based STETHS to victory in 7:38.38.

Twayne Crooks (1:52.71), on anchor for Kingston College (KC), ran very well, but his team had to settle for second in 7:38.54.  

Miguel Morrison (1:56.35), Chad Miller (1:54.37) and Delano Rochester (1:55.13) were the other KC rummers.

In the 4x400m, Michael O’Hara anchored Calabar to an easy win in 3:09.97. Anthony Carpenter (50.4), Aykeeme Francis (46.3) and Renado Wilson (46.57) also played their part in the victory.

Jamaica College (JC) 3:11.23 (Shemar Walker (49.5), Shawndail Mclaren (46.6), Owayne Russell (48.02), Devaughn Baker (47.06) finished second while St. Elizabeth with Marvin Williams (49.0), Okeen Williams (47.0), Robin Black (48.08), Leonardo Ledgister (48.64) ended third in 3:12.71.

Excelsior with Shemar Hylton (49.7), Nathan Brown (48.4), Achebe Thompson (48.66), Kenroy Williams (48.99) finished 6th in 3:15.74 and Petersfield with Jordan Scott (50.3), DeVaughn Ellington (47.4), Raheem Levene (48.95), Giovanni Campbell (51.56), 7th in 3:18.18.
