Keenan Lawrence and Leon Clarke helped St. Jago to their first High School Boys’ 4x800m Championships America Penn Relays victory in 26 years.

Clarke, who anchored the team, split 1:52.17 while third leg runner Lawrence recorded 1:53.02.

Eric McKenzie (1:54.56) and Joel Jean Pierre (1:53.96) were the other runners for St. Jago to win in 7:33.71.

St. Jago was winning their first title since in 1990.

Jauavney James, who anchored St. Elizabeth Technical, tried, but his team had to settle for second in 7:35.20.

Green Hope of Cary, NC, finished 3rd in 7:41.01.

Kingston College (KC) ended 5th in 7:45.12 while Jamaica College (JC) 7:53.45 was 9th and Bellefield 8:01.33 finished 12th.
