MANCHESTER, Great Britain – World champion Dafne Schippers will return to the Great CityGames Manchester on 20 May, informed organisers.

Schippers will compete in the 100m where she will go head-to-head with world long jump champion Tianna Bartoletta.

“I love taking part in these events. Street athletics bring a unique atmosphere, with the crowd so close to the athletes. You don’t get that too often in a season and I’m delighted to be returning to the UK to take part,” said Schippers, who finished second to Dina Asher-Smith over 150m last year.
