Jamaica’s World Indoor 60m hurdles champion Omar McLeod was in stunning form on Saturday at John McDonnell Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The former Kingston College and Manchester High star athlete ran 9.99 seconds, a huge personal best in men's 100m.

McLeod, who will celebrates his 22nd birthday on Sunday April 24, beat Markesh Woodson of Missouri 10.13 and Oklahoma State’s John Teeters 10.16 in the event.

McLeod is now the only man to run sub-13 in the sprint hurdles and sub-10 in the 100m.

He set a personal best of 12.97 seconds at last year’s Jamaica Championships in Kingston.
