New Orleans, La. (May 23, 2016) – Johnson C. Smith University track and field head track and field coach Lennox Graham has been named as the Atlantic Region Women's Coach of the Year by the USTFCCCA it was announced on Monday.
Graham, in his eight year guiding the Golden Bulls, won the program's fourth CIAA Championship earlier this spring. His squad held the No. 1 national rank earlier this year and is currently ranked No. 8.
JCSU will take nine qualifiers to the NCAA Championships later this week. Award winners were determined by a vote of USTFCCCA member coaches from each respective region.
Competition will run from Thursday, May 26 through Saturday, May 28 and will be held at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
