NEW YORK, USA – Olympic 200m champion Allyson Felix has said that she is “more open” to competing in the 400m in 2015, report NBC.

The 28 year old ran a world lead of 22.02 in her final Diamond League race of 2014, confirming her return to the top of the world 200m ranks. Now that she has fully recovered from her hamstring injury and has regained her speed, she is more confident of straying from her best event to test the longer sprint.

Her 400m PB is the 49.59 she ran to win World silver in 2011.
