Raheem Chambers won the re-run boys Under-18 100m final in a personal best 10.27 seconds on Sunday’s second day of the 43rd Carifta Games here at the Stade Pierre Aliker.

Chamber’s teammate Waseem Williams, who crossed the line first Saturday night, was second this time around in 10.33, also a life time best, while Javan Martin of Bahamas 10.54 took the bronze.

Barbadian Mario Burke, who crossed the line in second on Saturday, pulled up in the second half of the race.

In the field, Jamaicans Rochelle Frazer and Vashon McCarthy completed double victories. Frazer 46.90 beat teammate Paul Ann Gayle 45.93m while McCarthy threw 17.29m to win the Under-18 boys shot put.

Josh Hazzard of Grenada was second with 15.94m to McCarthy while Jamaica’s Warren Barrett third with 15.70m.
