Several world-class athletes, including Usain Bolt and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, will be on show today (11 April) at the UTech Classic set for the National Stadium, starting at 4pm Click here for startlist.

The men’s 200m will have Usain Bolt, Mario Forsythe, Nesta Carter, Rusheen McDonald, Sheldon Mitchell, Miguel Francis, Ramone McKenzie and Kimmari Roach.

World sprint double champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Sherone Simpson and Stephanie McPherson are the big names in the women’s 200m.

The women’s 100m will have Elaine Thompson, Schillonie Calvert, Natasha Morrison, Christianna Williams, Seidatha Palmer and Deandre Whitehorne.

Marvin Anderson, Tyquendo Tracey, Adolphus Nevers, Michael Frater and Nicholas Watson are in heat 2 of the men’s 100. Heat 3 should be hot with Julian Forth, Kemar Bailey-Cole and Daniel Bailey. Add to those Jevaughn Minzie, Dexter Lee, Jason Livermore and Oshane Bailey.

In the men’s 400m hurdles, Andre Clarke of GC Foster College and Josef Robertson of Cameron Blazers will try to match strides with Annsert Whyte of Racers.

Hansle Parchment will run the college men’s 400m while Leford Green, Isa Phillips, Javere Bell, and Rasheed Dwyer are in heat 2 of the open men’s 400m event.

Heat three, however, will have the big names – Javon Francis, Edino Steele, Chumaine Fitten, Nicholas Maitland, Jonia McDonald, Alvin Green and Kegan Campbell.

The women’s event will be very competitive with Shericka Williams, Shericka Jackson, Anastasia Le-Roy, Janieve Russell, Jody-Ann Muir and schoolgirl Dawnalee Loney.

Ristananna Tracey will run in heat 1 with Ronda Whyte.

O’Dayne Richards will guide schoolboys Warren Barrett and Demar Gayle in the men’s shot put.
