Olympic Games sprint double silver medallist Yohan Blake has endorsed the inaugural Food For The Poor 5k, set for May 9.

Speaking at the launch, Blake, who won 100m and 200m silver medals in London 2012, said the organization gave him his first cricket bat.
Blake said anytime to help people in need he will always play a role.

The launch, which was held on Tuesday, 10 January, under the theme, “Changing lives, restoring families…” also had Olympic Games 200m bronze medallist Warren Weir endorsing the event. Orville “Shaggy” Burrell, Agent Sasco, Ding Dong, Nomads and Etana also appeared at the launch and endorsed FFP’s initiative.
