Borel leads T&T 13 to Pan Am Games

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad: Cleopatra Borel is among 13 athletes selected to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico from October 14 to 30. Borel won bronze at the 2007 Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was a finalist in the shot put at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu, South Korea in August.

World Junior 100m record holder Darryl Brown leads the men’s team line up. The 2003 World Championships silver medallist has been named along with fellow 2009 World Championships sprint relay runnerup team-mate Emmanuel Callender and junior Jamol James for the men’s 100m.

MEN: Darryl Brown (100, 4×100), Emmanuel Callender (100,4×100), Joel Dillon (4×100), Jamaal James (800), Jamol James (100, 4×100), Moriba Morain (200, 4×100), Emmanuel Mayers (400Hurdles), Keshorn Walcott (Javelin), Quincy Wilson (Discus).
